		The Lowcountry Leads Association was formed in the spring of 1998. Various business leaders in the Summerville, SC area wanted to participate in an affordable referral group, yet associate with the "best" in their respective fields. The concept was simple: Allow only one person from each type of business to join. Insurance agent, travel agent, lawyer, accountant, carpet cleaner and photographer were just a few of the original positions filled in our club. We started meeting during lunch at Ryan's of Summerville and as we grew, we changed our meeting locations. Sticky Fingers served us well for a little over 3 years. We even tried meeting at club members offices, but as our membership approached thirty people we've pretty much settled in at our current meeting location, the Hampton Inn of Summerville. We still meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Our meetings start at 8:00am and end by 9:00am. The Lowcountry Leads Association is a networking organization, meaning we look out for the other members of LLA. During our daily routines, if we talk with someone who may need a sign painted, or their computer repaired, we give that potential customer a business card for that particular LLA member.
